Built in the USA-Pressure Washers and beyond

These days it seems harder to find pressure washers that are built in the USA. Could it be that Americans have settled to buy equipment based on price? Pressure washers built outside the USA tend to have a limited parts availability, materials of inferior quality, and even no product support. Americans seem to continue to buy cheap pressure washers and once they fail you throw the product away and buy a new one. What I consider as a "throw away mentality".

But let's think about what purchasing a USA built pressure washer can do for our failing economy. If the company is building the pressure washer in the USA, it  would employ Americans and keep the spendable income in the USA. If the materials being used are sourced in the USA, more employment and better parts availability. If the pressure washer is built to last by using components that can be rebuilt, employment for service support dealers throughout the USA.

Please consider these points when buying not just a pressure washer but any products. The price of a USA built pressure washer might be 2 to 3 times more in some cases but price is not everything. Think of it as an investment into the future of the America economy and future generations.

  3. AdvantaKleen, I agree with you, it is hard to find anything being built in the good ole' US of A but as a distributor of pressure washing supplies and equipment I've been making sure to do my part to try to change the American Mentality before it's too late.

Our Aaladin Hot Water Pressure Washer are built in the USA by a USA owned manufacturer. It is a major feature that I point out when selling our products and equipment. Let's keep the dollars in our market and keep Americans employeed.

  5. Honestly, I think that NOTHING is built to last anymore, whether it's in the USA or not. Also, the fact that we rarely manufacture anything anymore has become so ingrained in ours and exporters' economies, I'm not sure we could ever go back. It's a difficult situation with SOOOO many shades of grey.

  6. Will,
As a distributor of pressure washers and cleaning equipment for almost 24 years, I feel it is my responsibilty to my customers to sell them the best equipment that is built to last. My job is to build trust between my customer and myself, through my experience, knowledge and testimonials. I am also a proud hardworking American businessman who wants to continue doing what I do best. My mentality is what I think has kept my business alive throughout the years especially during these tough economic times. It is a difficult situation to make an entire nation change their habits, but it has to start somewhere and with someone. I support and sell high quality USA built USA owned manufactured products when I can and I ask others to do the same for the sake of our nation.

  7. As a manufacturer of industrial grade pressure washers, we are constantly being undercut by companies selling cheap machines built outside of the USA. Unfortunately when a customer is sold an inferior piece of equipment or one that does not fit the customers application, other than price, we all get a black eye. This is why it is important to identify your values and use them as a guide when dealing with your customers. Long term relationships with your customers are one of the keys to success as demonstrated by Aquatech-USA
